As members of the German public broadcasting network ARD (namely NDR, SWR and WDR) we are looking forward to coproducing international series. If you are a broadcaster or producer with inspirational series in development, and would like to make them a common, international project, let’s get in touch.
We commission a broad variety of fictional series for our non-linear platform ARD Mediathek. Our main target group are people aged 19-49 who appreciate sophisticated yet highly entertaining storytelling. Our mission is to tell stories that matter and make a difference, create buzz and raise complex issues and seek to excite our audiences every day.
We want to shape the future of fictional storytelling in a digitalized world and aim to produce high quality content of all genres: satire, comedy, drama, historic fiction, sci-fi, dramedy and whatever comes next. One of our core values is to empower creatives – experienced or aspiring - to tell unique and innovative stories. Our programmes reflect the diverse and pluralistic societies we live in and we seek to give voice to a broad variety of perspectives.
